Hi all, I’m Laura a human rights activist who is raising money for Aya and her four children Mohammed, Laila, Samir, and Abdullah in Gaza they have survived over a year of genocide and have been displaced multiple times. Aya’s story:

Hello, I am a mother of 4 children and a baby born a day before the war. Before the displacement, the house was completely demolished on us, but thanks be to God we survived. Praise be to God, our car was bombed and completely destroyed. After that, we were displaced to the south and the journey of suffering began with my children. My little child was deprived of living the life I had drawn for him and his siblings in the finest details. I was displaced from Gaza through the safe corridor and my child was not even a month old. I was displaced to the south. We began the suffering of living in tents and they deprived my children of the necessities of life. I could not provide milk, diapers, and clothes for my little child. Now my child is just over a year old and he crawls on the sand of the tents where there are insects, flies, and ants instead of a clean house.

As with my usual update style I will start with the good news, thanks to all of your generous donations these past three weeks we are nearing the threshold total for the next wire transfer. Please, keep up the energy as Israel continues to murder journalists news is getting harder to get from Gaza (and more broadly Palestine). Make no mistake the genocide is in the worst stage yet as the ground invasion of Gaza continues.

Continuing from my last update Aya and the kids are now completely under siege in the Sabra area, it is extremely dangerous for them where they are right now. Meanwhile the famine continues, and as the kids go hungry their ability to recovered from the wounds they are sustaining is vanishing. With Aya’s permission I’m sharing two photos, one of an aid collection point and the second image is of little Abdullah’s injured foot which was wounded when the Israeli zionist occupation bombed the home Aya has been renting. Thankfully no one was martyred when the home was bombed, however this is not to say that they are all safe, they are not.

With each passing day the situation worsens, from my own perspective I find myself being forced to expand my mental image of what hell on earth is. Hell that has been created by Israel with the help of America, the EU, Canada, as well as the rest of the “ Western world” while the ongoing crimes continue to be ignored by all Arab nations as well. The magnitude of tragedy goes beyond comprehension as we find ourselves approaching the 23rd month of this genocide. Both Aya and I ask what did her babies do to have to endure this childhood?

To even off this heavy update I’d like to reiterate that every single donation made puts Aya one step closer to securing food and basic commodities so that she and her four children Laila, Mohammed, Abdullah, and Samir can continue to eat in order to stave off malnutrition.
